Anapa, Russia

The town of Anapa is situated in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, close to the Sea of Azov on the Black Sea's northern coast. Its population, according to the Russian census of 2021, was 81,863.It is among Russia's biggest resorts for kids.
Anapa served as the Sindi people's capital and a significant seaport in antiquity. Greeks called it Gorgippia when they came there in the sixth century BCE. Later centuries saw Genoa and the Ottoman Empire take control of the settlement. It was the location of several sieges during the Russo-Turkish wars after a fortification was built there in 1781. After multiple occupations, the Russian Empire eventually seized it in 1829.Krymskaya Street is the address of Anapa's Town Theater. Following the Town Cultural Center's restoration, it opened.There are twenty-nine public libraries, four of which are kid-friendly. More than 8,000 books were sent to Anapa's libraries in 2010, and more than a million rubles worth of publications and newspapers were ordered. Additionally, nine hundred CDs were bought.
