St. Stephen's Basilica, Hungary

St. Stephen's Basilica is a Catholic basilica in the heart of Budapest, Hungary's Szent István-Bazilika. The church was originally intended to be named after Saint Leopold, the patron saint of Austria, but the plan was altered to honor Stephen, the first king of Hungary, whose purported right hand is said to be kept in the basilica's reliquary. Numerous sculptors have contributed to the interior design of St. Stephen's Basilica, including numerous sculptures crafted from over fifty varieties of marble. With a height of 96 meters, the Basilica is among the tallest structures in Budapest, along with the Hungarian Parliament Building. In the past, this equality represented the same significance of the city's spiritual and laical authority. St. Stephen's Basilica: https://www.budapest.org/en/things-to-do-budapest/
