Peles Castle is most beautiful in the spring and summer, when there is an abundance of vegetation and blossoming flowers. Constructed between 1873 and 1914, Peleș Castle is a Neo-Renaissance castle located in the Royal Domain of Sinaia in the Carpathian Mountains, close to Sinaia, in Prahova County, Romania. It is situated on an existent medieval route that connects Wallachia and Transylvania. In 1883, it was inaugurated. It was built for Romania's King Carol I.The complex is located northwest of Sinaia, which is 124 kilometers (77 miles) from Bucharest and 48 kilometers (30 miles) from Brașov. Peleș Castle, Pelișor Castle, and the Foișor Hunting Lodge are the three sites that make up the complex in the southeast Carpathian Mountains.
